CX Insert Set 700C/29"

Rimpact CX, designed specifically for Cyclo-Cross racing, stands out as the lightest insert in Rimpact's lineup, weighing just 55 grams—less than half the weight of competing products.

Similar to the Rimpact Pro, it features a dual-density design paired with Rimpact Original Foam, offering superior protection at an impressively low weight. The Rimpact CX allows you to run lower pressures on clincher tires, increasing traction and leveling the playing field against tubular tires without the fear of blowouts.

Specifically tailored for UCI spec CX tires (33c), the Rimpact CX is compatible with any rim with an inner diameter of 17mm to 25mm and tire widths from 33c to 45c. (Note: Fitting difficulty increases significantly with narrower rims). The diameter is 700c. If you're running 650b, consider our Gravel/XC inserts!

While Hookless Rims are compatible, running pressures close to the minimum or maximum recommended by the rim and tire manufacturer increases the risk of blowouts, not due to the Rimpact insert but the nature of the hookless design. For more information, please contact Rimpact.

To ensure full coverage of the insert, use about 25% more sealant than recommended on the bottle. While our inserts are closed-cell and cannot absorb liquid, some sealant will cling to the outside, requiring a slightly higher dosage. It can be injected through Rimpact Valves or poured directly into the tire.

Each insert weighs approximately 55g. Please review the installation instructions on our website before fitting or removing the insert.
