Knee Warmers

Why Do I Need Knee Warmers?

Your muscles perform better when they're warm. When your skin is exposed to colder air, you're likely to experience reduced blood flow to your muscles, which can negatively impact cycling speed and efficiency. To combat this and keep you comfortable, we always recommend a reliable pair of thermal knee warmers, especially during colder months.

When Should You Wear Knee Warmers?

We suggest wearing cycling warmers when outdoor temperatures drop below 15°C. If your skin feels cold to the touch during your ride, that's a sign that it's time to add a thermal layer. Warmers are particularly useful in those in-between seasons - it's not cold enough to reach for the cycling tights, but an added layer doesn't go amiss. Knee warmers are ideal as you can wear them when you feel the cold, but they're so easy to pull off mid-ride if needed.

Are Cycling Knee Warmers Worth it?

We recommend cycling knee warmers to all riders. They're small enough to tuck into your jersey pockets and provide extra comfort and protection exactly where you need it.

How to Wear Cycling Knee Warmers?

Our knee warmers for cycling are so easy to wear. Simply slip over your foot and work up your leg so that the upper end sits just below your thigh and your knee is fully covered. You can then secure the top of the warmer in place with the leg band of your cycling shorts.
