Northwave - Val Di Sole: Northwave wins the Fluckinger

The World Cup edition that went from August 2 to 4 2019 was able to exceed the most optimistic expectations from every point of view, in the only weekend in the whole Mercedes-Benz UCI Mountain Bike World Cup characterized by three disciplines – Four Cross, Downhill and Cross Country. Indeed in the XC, queen discipline, saw the great result of the athlete of Northwave, Mathias Flückiger. Equipped with the Extreme XC shoes, the Swiss from the Thömus RN Team finished second behind a wonderful Mathieu Van der Poel (Corendon-Circus), but able to leave behind “the legend” of cross country, Nino Schurter, which gives the crown after more than four years of undisputed dominance.
